Instruction and materials will be provided to assist in producing a personalized art piece that reflects the individual story of each participant. The Art for Grief workshop is an opportunity to connect with your authentic self as you continue the work of grief. Therapeutic art activities will guide participants to record their story and feelings associated with it. A mixed media art work will be created in honor of the grief, and will be a momento of the progress through loss. Lecture and instruction by artist Marti Koehler, MEd. Art for healing is a focus in many of Marti's workshops and promotes positive feelings and ideas.
